AUTOMOTIVE DETAILER
Duties
- Washing and cleaning the exterior as well as vacuuming the interior of the shuttle and returned service vehicles
- Care and maintenance of Washbay area and perimeter, including garbage removal, salt and shovelling, and an end of day lot check
- Move vehicles into wash stations or to designated areas on the lot as required
- Maintain cleanliness of all vehicles, including the dusting of showroom vehicles
- Consult with the Sales and Service departments on deliveries and daily spas
- Reporting any new damages to supervisor
- Weekly clean and tidy tool room area as well as the technician bays once they have left for the day
- Ensures safety policies, standards, and procedures are followed to achieve a safe work environment and safety for all staff, customers, and vendors
- Other duties as assigned and as may be amended from time to time to meet company objectives
Requirements
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
- Works well in a team environment
- Observes safety and security procedures and reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and material properly
- Excellent attendance is a must and consistently arrives to work on time
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to work on his/her feet for extended periods
Qualifications & Skills
- Grade 12 preferred, will consider skills and competences of past experiences
- 1+ year of experience in the automotive industry or shop labourer experience is an asset
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License with a Drivers abstract is required
- Certificate of Conduct is required

SALES & LEASING CONSULTANT
As a Sales Consultant, you’ll build and manage relationships with our clients, which means you are a proactive self-starter that is able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. You anticipate client needs through active listening and work with them to identify the very best automobile to suit these individual needs. We are looking for a candidate who will exemplify our brand image as an ambassador and will provide positive brand experiences to all customers. All while having the ability to earn a great salary!
Duties
- Providing timely professional service by demonstrating automobiles, explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking the customer on test-drives; explaining warranties and services
- Assisting customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses while suggesting trade-ins; responding to inquiries; recommending sales campaigns and promotions
- Handling customer email, phone and internet leads — especially following through on commitments made to customers
- Demonstrates advanced products knowledge by attending training programs conducted by Capital Auto Group and vendors
- Establishing personal goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity, and devising a strategy to meet those goals
- The ability to close sales by overcoming hesitations; negotiations; explaining provisions; and offering warranties, services
Qualifications & Skills
- 1+ years’ experience in sales is a must – previous dealer experience would be an asset
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License and Driver’s Abstract is required
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Works well in a team environment
- Competency in computer applications such as the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
